Questions and Answers, what a novel idea!

We've got answers!

Since our terms of use grant us power of attourney, we've taken the liberty to ask us questions on behalf of you. Thoughtful, almost. Inappropiate, probably. Presumptive, we'd like to think so! So take some time to review the answers we gave to the questions that you legally (see also: never) asked. If you circumvent the attourney client confidentiality and ask us a question directly we'll keep you anonymous with cutesy pet names like "Whats her face", "That guy at the office who asks way too many questions", "Awesome coder in training", or "Sir-talks-crap-but-can't-back-it-up". It'll have to be on a case by case basis so please don't be offended if the knightly name is already taken.

So what's the deal with the name ? ↑ Top

/ˌaltro͞oˈistik/ - adjective
1. Showing a disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others; unselfish.

If you're familiar with the GNU project (link) we're trying an experiment in something similiar. We don't believe there's anything wrong or immoral with trading your effort for cash and that the cash value of your effort is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. However, we also believe that unused tools = effort that did not meet it's potential. So we're providing tools for free. More than that we beleive that every single person has value and potential. We want to help you work to bring out that potential. Nobody got to where they are without the help of people around them. We believe it's time for us to give back. So be awesome, cause someone needs you!

Epic tools is a strong claim ? ↑ Top

A poem for all the nay-sayers: What is once wasn't. What wasn't soon will. What will will more.

We're ever continuing to get even more Epic though ugrades, updates, and feature bloat! So we think you'll agree with "epic" as appriopiate. If you don't you will! ... *cough* maybe *cough*

Who is Linus, and why do you keep referenceing him ? ↑ Top

It's a litmus test for nerds. If you code and you don't know who Linus is your level of nerd has an instant handicap! Plus we find most of our references hilarious!

Education moment! Linus is the guy who built the kernal he called Linux, cause strait up naming it after himself would be too prideful (he said it!). It tied together pretty much all the GNU project to make an independant and FREE operation system LINUX (Link). Because of Linus and the GNU project coders (seperate groups) you've now got acees to an array of free alternative operating systems to *shudders* Windows! Most servers where you're likely to host you websites and projects are also Linux servers. If they're not, you will be in for a world of hurt as you try to accomidate your code to a terrible system.

What languages do you use ? ↑ Top

As far as work appropiate languages it's mostly HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP. We play with others like Ruby on Rails, Ajax, and JSON but lack of proficienty keeps those off the site.

Any other services you can teach people about ? ↑ Top

We've got loads of experience and success in Marketing, Print Design, Web Design, PPC, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Wordpress, Website Psychology, Sales, Conversion Tracking, and a few others. We may open up some stuff to teach about those in the future but right now we're focused on just code.

What guarentees do you provide with your code ? ↑ Top

A*Uncortrollable laughter* Ah, that's rich... guarentees on FREE code! That's like getting speech education from Bush or accountability from Obama.

-Guarenteed to be more honest than Obama.
-Guarenteed to be more eloquent and articulate than bush.
-Our free code is guarenteed to be free.
-Our code is guarenteed to be built by us.
-Our code is guarenteed to have less viruses than your friday night date.

Do you have to bring up political stuff and off-color jokes ? ↑ Top

So a Democrat, an Arch-Bishop, and a Jew are stuck in a lifeboat off the coast of florida and a Coast Guard cutter pulls up and asks if they're fleeing from Cuba? ... Just like in the USA You don't have to be here. Free code, free advice, free to leave. See what we just did there? It's not actaully a political off-color joke! It's our way a saying you can leave, but you'll miss out on some awesome.

Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem quia voluptas sit ? ↑ Top

At vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus qui blanditiis praesentium voluptatum deleniti atque corrupti quos dolores et quas molestias excepturi sint
